A Partnership Nobody Asked For… But We’re Doing It Anyway
In a move that can only be described as bold, reckless, and legally questionable, the Boo‑Foons Mystery Investigators have teamed up with the unstoppable chaos gremlins behind Michael and Jeremy Steal Your Podcast.
Yes, you read that correctly.
They stole our podcast… so we made it official.
During what was meant to be a routine recording session, Michael and Jeremy executed a flawless distraction manoeuvre by sending us on an “urgent” beer run. With the hosts temporarily exiled to the supermarket, the duo seized the mics, commandeered the studio, and proceeded to interview private investigator Casey about the unsettling legend of The Smiling Man.
Rather than press charges, we decided to embrace the madness.
This collaboration brings together the Boo‑Foons’ love of folklore, mystery, and spooky nonsense with Michael & Jeremy’s talent for hijacking, improvising, and causing delightful mayhem and a shared commitment to making podcasting just a little bit weirder.

On Saturday the 6th of September 2025, The Boo-Foons took part in Mr Biffo’s Ghost Hunt (or “Ghunt,” as it’s affectionately known) at the British School Museum in Hitchin, a location steeped in history and whispered hauntings. With its creaking floorboards, vintage classrooms, and a reputation for paranormal activity, the museum set the perfect stage for an evening of spectral sleuthing.
Steve and Dan joined a brilliant crew of content creators, sharp, sceptical, and ready to debunk. None of them expected anything out of the ordinary. But as the night unfolded, the atmosphere shifted.
They encountered:
Multiple EMP spikes reacting to questions and games, these in areas with no obvious electrical interference
Spirit box responses that seemed eerily relevant to the questions
Sudden cold spots that defied the room’s ambient temperature
It was the kind of night that leaves you questioning what you thought you knew. And while we’re not jumping to conclusions, there’s a lot to unpack.
We’ll be reconvening with the rest of the Ghunt team soon to record a special podcast episode diving into the events, the evidence, and the theories. Expect candid reactions, audio clips, and a few laughs as we try to make sense of it all. Sometimes the truth can be stranger than fiction.
